Shopping centers around Dublin city

As the Celtic Tiger snarled on, most of the regions around Dublin were progressed into residential areas. The Square or ‘Square’ is so named due to the fact that it is built in the shape of a Square. The ‘Square’ is three floors high and is home to Argus, Roches Stores, Champion Sports, Dunnes Stores and Lifestyle Sports. There is also a multi-screen cinema.

Blanchardstown Shopping Centre

The Blanchardstown Shopping Centre was the largest shopping centre within the nation. It is also known as the ‘Blanch Centre,’ the centre has 4 wings and huge vehicle parking areas, which struggle to cope up with the traffic at weekends and holiday periods. Amongst the major multiples in the centre are Argus, Dunnes Stores, Penney’s and Marks & Spencer. If you have time to visit one shopping centre on your trip to Dublin, this should be the one.

Liffey Valley Shopping Centre

The Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is a controversial development and the rezoning of the land has become an issue as it is being inspected due to distrust of the politicians.
